Hi all! It has been quite a while and the first thing I want to do is acknowledge that. I want it clear: we're still here, still creating, and excited to share what's next! I think it's safe to say life has been a bit crazy for everyone, and we needed to take time to refocus. But we are recharged and will be returning to posting regular updates (more on that in a moment~). We'll keep things open via posts and transparent, just like you deserve! ^^

Your support means the world to us <3 and we can't thank you enough as we transition back to activity. Even during our break we have been working with new tools, restructuring, improving the process, and making progress. Now as we open up, it's time to show you all what you've been helping us achieve! Expect changes as we move forward with new energy and drive!

Our main goal is to engage with you, and involve you in the creative process more. Whether through feedback or direct ideas for new projects, we want to hear from you! Expect streams, a heavier focus on discord, and direct input there and anything you guys can come up with that would be fun while we work on the things you are here for ;3.

Here's what we have as a ground floor for our return to activities <3.

Patreon public/private posting schedule

We want to bring as many people as possible into our community while giving our patrons special perks. To do this, we’ll move to a new schedule for post visibility. For example, a post with new in progress sketches, models, tuts, write ups, whatever will be exclusive to patrons for the first month, then open to the public afterward. Polls and feedback opportunities will remain patron-only as a special thank you for your support.

Project updates and new things ahead

We know we’ve been a little behind on sharing project updates, and we’re ready to change that. Even with things having been worked behind the scenes during our break, we want to be more consistent. Rather than feeling like we have to post on a strict schedule, we’ll now update when we’ve reached a good milestone. Ideally once or twice a month. If we have cool stuff to share, we’ll post more frequently!

Our main new goal will be a focus on quality over speed. If something needs more polish we want to take that time to make the best animations we can. But we will keep you in the loop with updates. Keeping things top notch is the main focus, and we'll make sure to share as we go.

Direct involvement of patreons and the general fuzzy public

As we focus on interaction and growth in art and ourselves. It's a main point that we want to involve you all with our process, creative and otherwise. With that being said, a new focus on streams on Picarto and Discord will take a forefront. (I'll have links for everything at the bottom <3). Streaming and working with people has always been one of my favorite things, returning to that not only keeps myself and the team productive it's just fun for all. Keep an eye out for a Picarto schedule soon, and in the meantime, feel free to hop into Discord streams whenever you see us live. If you see Taurin, Kish or I in a voice chat/streaming come on in! ^^

Lastly, we just want to say, thank you all. And we want to show that with patreon exclusives that show that gratitude ^^. So is there things you would like to see? Announcements and New Project!

SPEAKING OF SMUT.  Part of our re launch is a new big project ^^. Working title will be the Sento Project. It's set with a Raccoon boy on vacation visiting a historic town and finding a bath house ;3. Let me walk you through what we have planned so far ^^.

(Ok, preface. I was trying to learn Toon Boom for an anamatic but gave up pretty quick LOL. Was trying out some character designs, yadda. <3 just swapped back to photoshop during the undressing scene lol. But yeah, I'll be posting my sketches along with the plotline so far ^^)

It opens with an establishing shot of the village along the ocean. (Think trees, misty, a bunch of old historic looking Japanese buildings ^^. Perhaps a boat? A pier? Still thinking up a way to show how the main character got there. A slow camera pan with titles to another part of the village.

A nice big public pond for... it looks nice ;3. I want to really give the vibes of "fishing village". Not pictured is some piers, boats. People walking around doing their stuff. A hint of modern times, but keeping roots (I'll do my best to research <3 If anyone is Japanese or knows a bunch about it do hit me up ^^ I would love to pick your mind.) Background characters going about their day. Planning on otters, cats, weasels, dogs, foxes. I'll post up as I complete more of their reference art work but here's the otter fisherman's nude ref. ^^ Still researching into clothing that would be appropriate.

Anyway, after the establishing shots we will move the camera in to the main door of the bath house.

I'm not sure on signage for these, but I love the stonework I have seen in many references online. ^^ Makes sense too with the tall cliffs near by with trees abundant. So most of the construction will be of wood and stone.

Enter character left. Raccoon boy, he doesn't have a name yet (lol, post ideas in the comments or discord ^^.) He will be holding a travel brochure with like a picture of this coast on it. But if you're traveling to Japan you know about the bath houses ;3 and I mean this is a furry animation there's gonna be smut in there. So...

He will of course want to go in. I mean. For reasons. Lol. Thinking very old style, wood panels everywhere. Little plants, and assorted nick nacks (cuz I mean, even in a historic town they are going to have crap to sell lol). But our raccoon boi has one goal, and that's check our the locals. ;3. But to get to that point we will need to check in and pay!

(Full disclosure, I wanted the person at the counter to be a marten. But it just kinda turned into a sloth cuz I am not a 2d artist mainly LOL. That's Taurin's job. Also I got the raccoon style I want better in the next scene ^^)

So he walks up to the counter, not speaking a lick of Japanese. Pulling a bunch of coins out of his pocket. The staff member will just kinda look at him, then the coins, take what's appropriate with a smile and send him off to the locker room/pre wash and hand him a towel. I want a sign with a couple price points, one for general, one for "full service" and that's of course what the staff member will sign him up for... (;3) He will walk into the wash room lockers while the staff rings a bell ;3 for reasons~

(This is the point where I gave up on ToonBoom. Lol. Character design is mostly solidified by now. Not sure if I wanna do long or short tail quite yet, lmk what you guys think. I like long tails, but it's not that accurate for raccoons lol.)

He will walk into the empty lockers. Not so much guilt, but more apprehension on his face as he starts to strip down. He thinks he's going to just go straight to the hot spring, but no~ gotta wash up first. He's a bit naive to etiquette, but hey, he payed for full service ;3 and that comes with a...

...assistant to show him proper etiquette. He notices them coming in as he continues to undress. I mean, he isn't expecting anything ;3 but I mean it's a porn animation I'm not going to bury the lead here. LOL. So he undresses as off camera the staff member walks in~

He gets a good look at the assistant. Instant dispelled from any hesitation. He continues to strip down, and get a little lipstick going~. I'll probably have some sort of identification, a symbol, part of a uniform maybe? He will know it's staff, and the raccoon likes this staff member. So...

he will continue to undress. Not being very subtle about that interest. ;3. (Ignore the backwards shading I flipped the drawing last min and like it better that way~) But he def shows off the goods. After his presentation, camera will pan and fade ;3 for now~ this is part one ^^.

The plan is a 3 part animation. Finishing each chapter as we go. ^^. And I have a few things I'm not showing here that I'll put a poll up at some point for you all to help choose elements. ;3

Hope you guys like the Sento Project ^^. I think it will be a fun one ;3 and I mean who doesn't like raccoon bois~. Still conceptualizing, but I like to do that as I work on world design, so will be streaming that while I work on the world and characters.
